The palate is slightly nutty, with hints of garden fruit, sherry, and oak. A smooth and mellow finish. About Knockando Scottish malt distillery on the left bank of the Spey River, near Tamdhu. Built in 1898, it has undergone few changes of ownership. The one billionth bottle of Knockando was bottled in 1985, along with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Today, the distillery
