Original U.S. WWII 24th Infantry Division M1 Helmet by Schlueter Night Sights The blade mountings are theOriginal Item: One of a kind. This rare helmet is a fine example and still retains all of its original WW2 parts and paint. Of most note are hand painted 24th division insignia to the sides of the shell. The steel shell is stamped S indicating Schlueter manufactured this helmet. The rim is both rust resistant and has "non magnetic qualities" that reduced the chance of error readings when placed around certain sensitive equipment (such as a compass).
