This is an excellent combat used example of the classic Type 92 Tetsubo ( "steel cap"), also colloquially called the tetsukabuto ( "steel helmet") by troops. This is an unusual helmet in that it does not have the typical star associated with the Imperial Japanese Army, nor the device for the Imperial Japanese Navy Forces, or the anchor stencil indicating it was navy issued. This helmet is stamped on the front which
