Germany, Rad. An Enlisted Personnel Belt Buckle, By Richard Sieper & Söhne Archive of early period manufacture(Reichsarbeitsdienst Grtelschnalle). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) insignia in the form of a shovel head overlaid by a mobile swastika, set within a circular wheat stalk wreath on a pebbled background, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, the latter retaining a period original brown leather strap bearing a makers mark of RICHARD SIEPER & SHNE, LDENSCHEID, with the logo of the
