Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, surrounding a white enameled disc overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel insert with an enameled HJ insignia, the eagle flanked by a date of 1939 and topped by an inscription of KREISSIEGER, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire
