This is an exceptional example of a genuine British Mark 1 steel helmet that is dated 1939. The stamping on the underside of the rim reads: LFII HBH 1939 HBH stands for Harrison Bros & Howson of Sheffield England who produced helmets between 1938 1940. The paint appears to be 100% original.
