A Reich Labour Service Rad Long Service Award Zimmermann First Strike Auction Archive A Wehrmacht Army Russian Volunteer(Reichsarbeitsdienst = RAD): Bronzed aluminum, two sided, illustrating both the obverse and the reverse of the medal, 51 mm x 52. 5 mm, fire damaged on the reverse, very fine. Footnote: Zimmermann was a well known German manufacturer of a great variety of awards, German and International, and was destroyed in an allied bombing raid in the early 1940's on Pforzheim, Germany. Sometime in 1990, during construction on the site, a quantity of medals was
