This is a lovely cased example of a WWII Iron Cross First Class 1939, with a Magnetic core, flat design, and later straight tapered pin attachment. It is maker marked on the underside of the pin with Prsidialkanzlei des Fhrers Lieferant (Presidential Chancellery Supplier) number 20, which represents C. F. Zimmermann of Pforzheim. It is also marked with LDO number L 52 on closer to the hinge on the back of the pin,
