Infantry Officer's saber from the War of 1812 period which retains its original brass mounted leather scabbard, an extremely scarce feat! It features a lovely carved bone ivory grip as well as a gold inlaid fire blued blade, which still looks just as astounding as the day it was made. The sword is all brass mounted with a "P" guard with a very nice "open beak" Eagle
