This is a nice example of a German Krimschild metal shield award, which has been removed from a uniform, so at present there is no fabric included. The shield is in good shape, but does show plating loss from cleaning on the front side. This example is made from bronze plated non magnetic zinc alloy, and cleaning has worn off almost all of the brass plating on the front. It now has a lovely gray oxidized patina
