This is a vest made for a dog which has various patches and World War One uniforms buttons. In addition to a very nice Service of Supply patch there is an original dog tag for John Couter Serial No. 388729. We were able to successfully research Private Courter and confirmed he served in Europe during the Great War with Det. 501 (Quartermaster Corps, Department 501). Additionally we were able to find a September 1st, 1918
