The mirror does having ageing spots on it and some black marks (a lot of foxing) which adds to the vintage feel and the interior rim is slightly flaky in parts

pastels required no drying time and could capture fleeting light and seasonal color with immediacy

It is a perfect size for next to an armchair or sofa - perfect height to place a drink or display a plant and extra storage too with the lift lids

The scale is extremely heavy and has an enormous metal pan
