Germany, SS. An SS Marksmanship Sleeve Diamond, I. Class consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac dated 15 September 1944(SS Schieauszeichnungen, rmelraute 1. Schieklasse). Constructed of black wool with a buckram core, the obverse bearing a central silver aluminum wire bullseye target, situated above a cluster of oak leaves of identical construction, the reverse retaining a fully intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a makers code of A4 189, measuring 50 mm (w) x 75 mm (h), demonstrating sporadic mothing to the obverse, in very fine condition.
