It is a heavy old beast of a gun, dating to 1840 1850, with the markings all worn off, so it could have been made in the United States. Made with 28" barrels and measuring 43" in overall length, this is just the sort of DB Shotgun used on Stage Coaches and such up to and during the U. S. Civil War. Back
