S. Initials on lower limb of rays below angles wing tip denoting Jorge Soubre, reverse depicts the arms of the Allied nations, those of Brazil are found in the centre, with the inscription; GRANDE GUERRA PELA CIVILISACAO (Great War for Civilisation), measures 35. 18 mm (w) x 39. 37 mm (h), worn on replacement period ribbon, dark patina, very fine.
