Croatia, Republic. An Order Of The Iron Trefoil, Ii Class, C.1942 Archive marked "9" (9K Gold)(Red eljeznog Trolista). Instituted in 1941. In black lacquered non magnetic metal alloy, silvered centrepiece with red and blue enamels, unmarked but of typical B. Knaus of Zagreb manufacture, measuring 51 mm (w) x 51. 3 mm (h), scattered chipping in the black lacquer on the one intact prong, missing upper prong, very fine.
